AHA Workers' Compensation Self-Insured Trust
Workers’ Compensation Coverage
AHA Workers’ Compensation Self-Insured Trust Program was established in March 2003. The program provides workers’ compensation coverage to AHA members. Risk Management Resources, a division of BXS Insurance Services, the third party administrator for the program, assists members in the areas of underwriting, claims management, safety, and loss control.

Volunteer Insurance
Cost-Effective “on-the-job” Accident Coverage for Volunteers
The AHA Volunteer and Student Nursing Insurance Program is designed to provide cost-effective coverage in the event of an “on-the-job” accident for individuals who participate in a volunteer service program on or off the hospital premises.
